When I try to install meshalyzer from meshalyzer_win64-5.3.zip on Windows 11-64, I get an error: Cannot find 'cygfreetype-6.dll',so I downloaded it from the Internet, but cygfreetype-6.dll only has the 32bit version. What should I do to install meshalyzer correctly?

Thanks

Hi,

Try this file cygfreetype-6.dll . I suggest unzipping the dll inside the meshalyzer folder where the other dlls are.

Cheers,

Jorge

This is strange. Could you please provide some specifications on your OS and machine? An alternative would be to install cygwin in your system and donwload the necessary dlls.

I updated the zip file and tested in a different machine. Please try downloading meshalyzer using this link

To add to Jorge's answer, this DLL is included in the latest meshalyzer release: https://git.opencarp.org/openCARP/meshalyzer/-/releases/5.3
