Hi,

I generated an external ionic model (.so file) on my desktop machine and then I tried using it on the openCARP version that is installed on Archer HPC. This produced the following error at runtime:

openCARP.opt: sim_utils.cc:116: void opencarp::initialize_physics(): Assertion `loading_succeeded' failed.
L5: /work/e348/e348/shared/simulator/openCARP/CRAY/bin/openCARP.opt: undefined symbol: __new_IonType

I wonder what generated this.

Best,

Cesare

You'll need to compile the dynamic library for the model on the same machine (or an equivalent one in terms of hardware, libraries etc.) that you'll be running it on.
