For bench, it seems I can only control the Trace Number of the output trace. I am looking to output something like Trace_{G_type}_{No.}_{etc.}. How would I do this?

If this isn't feasible, is there an option to control the --fout option such that the trace variables are saved with the output file?

Hi!

I suggest to use --validate with the --fout option. This way, all variables are stored and you have also some control over the filename.

Hi Aurel,

Thanks for your reply.

I believe only the state variables are saved with the --validate option. So, if I want to output a current trace for ICaL using --validate, will I need to make ICaL a state variable using the .nodal() option in the .model file? Will this produce different values from the .trace() option?

Also, how should I interpret the outputted sv files? They seem to be written in binary.

Thanks,
Chang

Hi!

The binary output files can be converted to hdf5 and then visualized with limpetgui. See https://opencarp.org/documentation/examples/visualization/limpetgui#bin2h5

Cheers, Aurel
