Hello,

I want to apply the wall thickness over my atria mesh. My meshes are consisted of triangular and line elements.
I have made the "f3d" file with the same name of my mesh (like a data file with the line number equal to my elements number) and I can not see any difference using the f3d files.
Is there any arguments or parameter in the opencarp that should be on that the simulations would be done considering the f3d file?

Hey,

f3d files are not supported in openCARP. The required format for mesh files is specified in the User Manual (https://opencarp.org/documentation/user-manual) in sections 4.1.2 to 4.1.4.

If your current mesh already contains the surfaces and you want to create a volumetric mesh, you first have to find a suitable tool to generate a volume mesh from the surface mesh and then convert it to the openCARP format. meshtool is capable of this for common file types. Gmsh is another alternative (but requires conversion to openCARP format after meshing).
