Hi all,

Thanks for providing tutorial examples/02_ep_tissue/22_forceppsI have managed to induce re-entry, especially sustanined re-entry using VARP (S1–S2) protocol, with reference to this tutorial, using the mesh provided, istgeom.400um.

However, when scanning different coupling intervals (CIs), I only observe two outcomes: either the S2 stimulus falls into the refractory period and fails to capture, or it propagates normally as the next beat. I do not observe any sustained or non-sustained re-entry, even near the apparent ERP boundary. But when I change some parameters, such as maximal conductance and conductivity, things can be differnt. I have included my two different parameters set up and results in demo_VARP and demo_KCL.

In addition, would it be possible to provide a reproducible set of parameters, including the substrate settings, stimulation protocol, and specific CI values, that can reliably induce re-entry for human heart? This would help me verify whether my VARP implementation and simulation setup are correct.

Thank you!

Best,

Mengxiao
