Hi

I keep running into this error when trying to do a simulation on a human bi-ventricular mesh suspended in a bath. The mesh is in openCARP format and the .elem file seems okay by scrolling through it (meaning I didn't encounter any weird elements, only Hx,Tt,Pr,Py,..). I can visualize the mesh with Meshalyzer and I can manipulate it with meshtool. I don't understand why I get this error.

Thanks for your help!

Hi!

I just checked the source code. Pyramids and Prisms are currently not included in the reference_shape function. I will add this to my to-do list. Thanks for pointing this out!

For now, I would advice to convert the mesh to a Tet-only mesh (e.g. via Paraview).

Best wishes, Aurel

Hi!

Today I pushed openCARP 4.0 for release. One main addition is that all CARP elements (Line, Tri, Quad, Tet, Hex, Prism, Pyramid) are now supported in openCARP.

Best wishes, Aurel
