We are delighted to welcome Tobias Gerach as a new maintainer of the openCARP project.

Tobias has been an active member of the openCARP community for many years. Alongside his code contributions, he regularly reviews proposed changes and supports users through the Question2Answer forum. His thorough and responsible approach, combined with his deep knowledge of the codebase, makes him an excellent addition to the maintainer team.

Following his nomination and approval by the openCARP Steering Committee in accordance with the project’s governance process, Tobias will take primary responsibility for the areas of Experiments and Architecture. In this role, he will help coordinate development, moderate issues, review contributions, and manage merge requests.

We thank Tobias for taking on this responsibility and look forward to continuing our work together.
